University of Southampton - PR for Bioversity 2007 Conference

Bioversity 2007, the first conference solely dedicated to showcasing university technologies to bioscience and pharmaceutical companies, was held on the 20th June at Westminster Hall in London. The conference was a huge success, attracting over 100 delegates from the UK's top universities and European life-science companies with the aim of encouraging world-class partnerships and collaborations. Northbank worked closely with the conference organisers from the University of Southampton to raise awareness of the event through PR. The pre-conference media outreach also helped to develop the Bioversity brand for future success. Northbank strongly believes in supporting partnerships between academia and industry and leveraging the commercial potential of university technologies.
