Oxford BioMedica
specialises in the development of novel gene-based therapeutics
for the treatment of cancer, neurodegenerative diseases and other
disorders with major unmet clinical needs.
The Company’s
previous identity had grown to be visually inconsistent and gave
an appearance of being predominantly research and technology focused.
We were asked to realign and develop the identity to reflect the
product focus of the Company. We simplified and improved the legibility
of the logo and used the helix to form the basis of a visual style.
The helix forms the holding element in all print and electronic
materials and contains imagery appropriate to the content. The new
identity reflects a more mature company, is more consistent and
is easier to use and manage.
We implemented
the identity across a new set of datasheets, folder, Annual Report
and website. Our understanding of the science and their business
enabled us to help write key scientific and promotional content
for these materials. As part of the projects we art directed photography
to communicate the new focus and help build a photo library for
future materials.
