Northbank Communications strengthens Munich team with new appointment

Northbank Communications, the full service PR and marketing consultancy focused on science-based companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Janina Schaper to the position of Senior Account Executive in the Munich office.

Janina has recently completed a PhD programme at the Research Centre Jülich GmbH that combined cell biology with immunology, oncology and microsystem technologies to investigate vaccine development for breast cancer. Prior to joining Northbank, Janina completed a 3 month internship at CapGemini in Stuttgart working with biotech clients. During her PhD, Janina led a three-member project team and supervised two diploma students. As teamleader she spearheaded cooperation with academic and industrial partners from seven countries within the scope of an EU project. Janina originally graduated from the Technical University of Brunswick with a Diploma in Biotechnology, giving her a broad understanding of the technologies and science with European life science companies. As well as having a comprehensive biotechnological background, Janina has also studied economics.

In her role as Senior Account Executive, Janina provides account support and assists with marketing and PR project implementation for national and international client accounts.
