Genomic Solutions makes a splash with product launch.
Having developed unique plate microarraying technology for DNA and protein applications, Genomic Solutions wanted to make a splash with an official product launch at the ABRF 2005 meeting in Savannah, GA. Trade PR was identified as an effective method of driving interest and generating sales leads and so Northbank was brought in to help devise a programme that covered the meeting and opened opportunities beyond. Prior to ABRF, Northbank worked with Genomic Solutions to develop the tools necessary to deal with media enquiries for those at the event and as a way of drumming up further interest with non-attending key media. As part of the strategy Northbank also worked with Genomic Solutions to place a number of targeted articles and editorial opportunities, resulting in significant exposure. The product launch has been greeted with great success and Northbank's PR activity has produced real sales leads that Genomic Solutions is currently converting.
